

Small Victory for DREAMERS may be short lived
The Trump Administration has already announced that it will challenge Judge Alsup's decision which included granting a preliminary injunction keeping DACA in place pending litigation. It is not anticipated that the U.S. government will file an emergency motion to stay the preliminary injunction in the meantime. Some Long Overdue Good News for DREAMERS (for now)
Over the weekend, USCIS made its announcement regarding the effect of U.S. District Court Judge William Alsup's decision on January 9, 2018 to effectively keep DACA in place as it is being litigated. This update only affects those individuals previously granted DACA. TPS Designation to End for El Salvador (as well)
